POTD Feb 1st

Well, kids are home and we have gotten 6 inches of snow overnight and today. So the kids are home and bouncing off the walls. Well except the oldest teenager! She sleeps and sleeps and sleeps. LOL But the other teenager, Trevor that is, actually let me snap a few of him. I just can't believe how grown up he is. I am so glad he let me take his picture. I can't pin him down very often. Ok so here he is...have a great day!!

POTD January 30th

Ok so yesterday it was almost 75 degrees and today uhhhhg 28 degrees, it snowed a bit, and WINDY. OHHH that Kansas wind!! Stinks! So in honor of the cruddy weather here's my POTD! I left it pretty big so if you look REALLY close you can see me in her eye! Isn't that cool?? I thought so. Thanks for stopping by!

POTD January 28th

Yep, I slipped behind. LONG weekend. I did luck out and Emma let me play a little this morning so that is a plus. I can't believe my BABY looks so grown! She's on 4 for goodness sake. Oh well, part of aging(still not dealing well with the one year older thing. LOL)

POTD January 25th

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! Well official ON the 25th. Don't like it one bit though. Being that it's my 38th, it puts me wayyy too close to the "bleeping" 4 0! uhhhhg I think I will just skip that day! LOL Anyway, not too creative from me today. It hasn't be the greatest. Can I tell you that depression and having teenagers DOES NOT MIX??? Enough said!

This one isn't anything near technically correct but I thought it was funny! After catching Brady continually run his head across the couch in order to see how much static he could get, I decided I had to get a picture of it! Have a great day!!

POTD January 24th

GOODBYE RIGHT ONE...HELLO RUBBY LOVE!

Its a sad sad day. Sam has had his fleece blanket, named "Right one" by him, since he was 8 months old. He is now almost 6 and "Right one" has fallen to the wayside. What is funny is he has always had this sensory thing, where he has to be rubbing soft things. He points these things out to me ALL the time. I mean, he's even pointed out that ear lobes are soft. LOL Anyway, he named his blanket right one because there was one specific fringe that was his go-to. He had that sucker rubbed paper thin I tell ya. Not too long ago he came and showed me, with a smile on his face, that he had cut "Right one" off of his blanket. Now you know that on the 6 year level, he was thinking that by cutting it off he could have "Right one" with him ALL the time but wasn't thinking that it was something very FINAL. My reaction was of shock! I said SAMUEL what have you done. Well he instantly started crying. I felt so bad. He said, "you are mad". I said no, I was just sad for him. Well right one was lost not too long after that so we had to find something that would be a good replacement. Since he's been noticing soft things lately I decided to bring him home this little puppy that was big enough to tote around everywhere. So WELCOME RUBBY LOVE!! OHH and forgot to add...he's chosen Rubby's tail to be the soft thing to rub! LOL

POTD January 23rd

Well I decided to do something fun today. Sam is always willing to do that. That's all I get from him anymore is goofy faces! hehe

POTD January 22

Took a few days off because I was busy with a sick little girl. Emma had a high fever(sometimes getting as high as 104)for almost 5 days. Now she's coughing up all that nasty crud. We ended up taking her to the ER saturday night and they said she had Bronchiolitis. Anyway, think we are on the mend thank goodness.

So this week is words? Man, I had a hard time doing this one. I normally don't take pictures of inanimate objects but I am gonna work on it, seeing how my other subjects have learned to RUN! LOL

My word for today really hits home. I need this little reminder constantly!! Until tomorrow....
